Admission requirements:
TAGU accepts applications for enrolment in the program in May, and commencement of study begins in October every year. Prospective students wishing to enrol at TAG University must fulfil the admission requirements set by each college as follow:
1- College of Business – BA: Management, Marketing, Banking &Finance, and Accounting:
- The Kurdistan / Iraq General High School Exam (GHSE) or its equivalent with a minimum grade average of 65% - Scientific, Literate, IT, and Commerce streams
- A differentiation Value (DV) which gives 60% weight to GHSE and 40% weight to subjects in IT, Commerce (if any), and English Language
2- College of Business - MBA
- Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or business/ management related disciplines with a GPA of not less than 70% or Equivalent
- English professioncy
- Relevant working experience is a preference
3- College of Information Technology – B.Sc. Computer Science and Information Systems:
- The GHSE or its equivalent with a minimum grade average of 65% - both Scientific, and IT streams
- A differentiation Value (DV) which gives 60% weight to GHSE and 40% weight to subjects in Math, IT, and English Language
4- College of Design – B.Sc. in Industrial design, Interior architecture, and graphics and animations:
- The GHSE or its equivalent with a minimum grade average of 65% - Scientific, Literate, and IT streams
- A differentiation Value (DV) which gives 40% weight to GHSE and 60% weight to aptitude test and arts skills
The language of Instruction at TAGU is ENGLISH and so each prospective student must set for TAGU General English Test. The results of the test will qualify how many courses the student should take English in the first year. TAGU will offer eight levels of English Language courses, and students will be enrolled in both Language and Study program courses at the same time. Intensive tutorials will also be given on TAGU Campus.
Tuition and Fees
The Tuition and fees for 2010/2011 at TAGU for all undergraduate degree programs are as follows:
- Application Fee : 50 USD
- Registration Fee : 150 USD per semester
- Tuition : 100 USD per Credit Hour
